Calling for Volunteers
Just two weeks from today we'll be shipping over a thousand packages out to Schlockfen all over the world. We've done this before. We call the event a "shipping party." It's like a barn raising only with less hoe-down and more strapping tape.
The Emperor Pius Dei shipping party runs from 9 am to 4 pm on Monday July 25 at Dragon's Keep (260 N University Avenue in Provo, UT). We're looking for about 20 people willing to donate their time at any point during the day. You'll be helping put Schlock books, invoices, and freebies into boxes, and applying pre-printed postage and labels to the boxes for shipping. Some heavy lifting may be required, but we usually have plenty of strong backs, so there's room for petite frames as well.
We're happy for any help we can get. We will provide breakfast for the early-birds, lunch for everybody, and merchandise freebies.
