Howard's 2013 Movie Rankings
Here, listed in decreasing order of "how much fun I had in the theater," are the films I've seen so far this year. As I've said in previous years (2010, 2011, 2012), this is an incredibly subjective scale, and it's difficult to keep things straight over the course of twelve entire months. It's possible, however, that this scale will be useful to you.
At the very least you'll know what kind of horrible stuff I like. My "Threshold of Awesome" currently sits at #18, with World War Z perched on the precipice, and all those are in boldface. My "Threshold of Disappointment" lies down around #30, with Man of Steel leading the netherward charge. Those bottom ones are also in boldface, and are the films where I wish I could have the time back.
