Howard's 2014 Movie Rankings
As I've said in previous years (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013), this is a very subjective exercise, and I often lose track of just how much "fun" something was during the 12-month course of creating the list. It's possible, however, that this scale will be useful to you.
Films that cleared my Threshold of Awesome are boldfaced with low numbers. Films falling below my Threshold of Disappointment are boldfaced and have higher numbers. Somewhere in the middle are the films where hey, I had a good time, don't look at me that way.
