Discussion Policy

Comments are not enabled for comics or for blog posts here at schlockmercenary.com.

This makes the discussion policy pretty simple.

The slightly less simple bit, for those interested, is the reasoning behind our decision to disable comments on this site. Summarized: Time spent managing an online community is time that both Howard and Sandra would prefer to spend on making comics, publishing books, and perhaps raising children.

We realize that there are a number of people who will miss the opportunity to use this site to discuss things like Howard's movie reviews. Howard will miss the interactions too, but he will miss them while spending more time at the drawing table, or perhaps leaving the house more than once a week. 

Howard does interact with people on Twitter from time to time, but please take note: that is a fairly personal space for him. He uses Twitter's "mute" feature liberally, injudiciously, and arbitrarily. If you absolutely must be heard (especially for help with store orders,) email .
