Road Report...entry, Tuesday, June 9th, 2005
Per the last entry, I'm now in Livermore. It turns out that instead of staying with the in-laws, we're staying with more distant relatives in a home that used to be a bed-and-breakfast.
I must say, this is quite nice. I'd tell you more about it, but then you'd be able to find me, and we can't have that until Monday at the earliest.
Monday's plans, such as they are as of this writing, can be found here. If you live in the area of Livermore/Pleasanton, you might join the group for dinner. If you play Disc Golf, there's going to be some of that earlier Monday afternoon. And if you work at Google, well, email me and I'll put you in touch with the guy who's taking me on a tour around lunchtime.
(Note: My email address, for those of you for whom the php/javascript obfuscation is not working, is "my first and last name, dot-delimited, at that nifty mail service sponsored by the folks whose facility I'm visiting on Monday.")
I still plan to meet up with fellow-toonist Greg Dean Tuesday in Sacramento. That's a private get-together, though. We have all kinds of important things to talk about, like "how to draw hands" and "how to get our hands on more money," and "how not to draw back a bloody stump when getting our hands on more money."
So... that's the news. I'll be back in homey little Orem, Utah sometime late Wednesday or early Thursday, kissing the ground and retreating into my office, where I'll likely hide for 36 hours straight.
