Las Vegas Comic-Con Updateentry,
I'm still here at the Las Vegas Comic-Con, and still using a dial-up connection. I'm also short on the equipment necessary to upload pictures (short one USB camera cable, to be precise), which is a real bummer because Chalain and I have some awesome pictures.
Most of these were from last night's Masquerade, in which roughly 500 folks in costumes hung around and took pictures of each other. I'll post the good ones in a later letter -- for now, content yourself with the knowledge that Howard the Tatooed Mage summoned a couple of very scary demons.
As noted yesterday, the Keenspot Booth is at 810 (about two blocks from the entrance down the 800 aisle). I'll be there most of the day today, taking occasional 15 minute breaks to go see other stuff. I'll leave a note there indicating when I'll be back at the booth, so if you're in Vegas, the $20 one-day admission will all but guarantee you a Schlock Sketch. I also have Schlock Shirts, including the last 10 or so of the White Schlock-tees with the 2001 cast-shot on them. Some of these will be GIVEN AWAY to adoring fans or members of the press, mostly on my whim.
(Note: A truly adoring fan would never miss a day of Schlock--especially not on the day they go to meet the Schlockmeister himself--and would be able to prove it. You'll think of something.)
There is a Webcomics panel from 3:30 to 5:00pm, and I'm one of the panelists. That's the biggest block of time during which I PLAN to be away from the booth, but you should plan to come to Lagoon I (on the second floor) to cheer me on.
And now, I'm off to the Excalibur McDonalds, which appears to be the only place on this end of the strip where the food prices are normal. It's DEFINITELY the only place I can get a McGriddle...
