Find Me in Skullkickers Volume 3
You might recall that last year I wrote a comic that I did not illustrate. It was fun! The story is called "Twang" and it has now been collected into Skullkickers Volume 3, along with several other wonderful shorts and five full issues of swordy, six-gunny, swashbuckly fun.
I've said it before, I'll say it again: Skullkickers is the fantasy comic I wish I had written. I got to write a little bit of it, though, and I'll settle for that.
If you're not following the series, you should be. It is my favorite comic not by me. Here, then, is your shopping list:
Volume 1: 1000 Opas and a Dead Body
Volume 2: Five Funerals and a Bucket of Blood
Volume 3: Six-Shooter on the Seven Seas
I've had the privilege to talk a bit with Jim about what's coming in the Skullkickers universe, and it's a story that will play really well for you fans of humorous, epic, illustrated science fiction (that's what Schlock Mercenary is, you know.) I mean, obviously the first three volumes should already hook you, but what's coming is even better.
But don't wait for it. START NOW. I've linked to these titles on Amazon, but you can find them anywhere comics are sold, including places like The Dragon's Keep in Provo, Utah, where you might also be able to find me. And yes, I am TOTALLY ALLOWED to sign that third volume, reducing its value by incalculable amounts.
