Tuesday evening from 6:00pm to 10:00pm
BrainShare!!entry,
If you're in Salt Lake City for BrainShare this year, you may just run into me. At the very least, you'll probably see my work scattered through the Technology Lab. I illustrated a twelve-month calendar for Toffa, and created a superhero comic strip for GWAVA. The GWAVA stuff in particular will be hard to escape, since 1000 copies of this promotional comic will be passed out from Sunday through Tuesday.
Tuesday evening from 6:00pm to 10:00pm I'll be at the GWAVA booth signing comics and (time permitting) whipping out sketches. I'll probably also be at the GWAVA booth for a little while Sunday evening, but I'm not making promises.
Wednesday between noon and 2:00pm I'll be at the Toffa booth signing posters and calendars, and whipping out more sketches (again, time permitting).
For the rest of the day on Wednesday I'll likely be wandering around looking at stuff, and catching up with lots of old friends. It promises to be the most relaxing, laid-back BrainShare ever, at least from my point of view. If you run into me, feel free to ask me for a sketch. If you want to commission something more complex, don't be afraid to ask. The kids, they like fresh milk you see.
More than a few of you have asked if you can see this GWAVA stuff without going to BrainShare. The answer is "yes you can, but not yet." Sorry!
In unrelated news, I finished reading a book written by my friend Dan Willis, The Dragon Well, which is the third volume in The New Dragonlance Adventures. Tired of Big, Fat Fantasy? Has your back been broken on The Wheel? I read this title in one sitting, devouring pages happily, and realized that the book made me want to join a nice Fantasy-setting GURPS campaign. (Okay, D&D would work just as well, and that's probably what WoTC wants me to think about when I read the titles they publish, but I've got GURPS on the brain lately.) This is Dan's first novel, and he's done a great job with it. I'm not the sort of guy who does "series by multiple authors," so I was a little leery of it at first, but he had me hooked by page three.
Now I just need to find my dice, and a little free time.

Are you interested in having me come to your city? Your convention? Your HOUSE? Pay my way and pay my stay, and we can make it happen. The BEST way is to convince the convention organizers that I'm worthy of "GoH" status, but there are alternatives. Email me if you've got an event in mind.
