White Trash Zombie Apocalypse, by Diana Rowland
Fresh content below! But first, pre-orders are now open for The Body Politic! And now, on to the fresh content...
White Trash Zombie Apocalypse is the third installment in Diana Rowland's "White Trash Zombie" series. Our protagonist, Angel, has been turned into a zombie, and being a zombie is pretty cool. Zombies never look "dead" if they stay topped up on brains, and the brains can be acquired through a network involving morgues and funeral homes.
Also, if they over-fill on brains, they get some super-powers.
The first two installments in the series set the stage for the conflict played out here, and the long denouement makes this feel like a nice end to the story. Is it? I have no idea. But if Rowland ever does give us more Angel, more bottles of brain smoothie, and more evil, undeath-exploiting corporate monstrosity I'll be there.
If you're new to the series, well, I just gave you a hint at a spoiler or two, but you should still start at the beginning with My Life as a White Trash Zombie.
