Writing Excuses, Episode 2!
So... you missed Life, The Universe, and Everything, and you're saddened by the fact that I'm not coming to your city this year. How, you wonder, will you EVER get to experience Howard Tayler as a panelist, in his element among experts on the subject matter at hand? Well... maybe I can't come to your city, but I can come to your iPod (or Zune, or even just whatever plays MP3s on your computer). In case you missed the announcement last week, Brandon Sanderson invited me to do a regular podcast with him and with Horror writer Daniel Wells. It's called "Writing Excuses," and Episode 2: Blending the Familiar and the Original is live today. What sets us apart from other podcasts? It's simple: We stay on topic, and we get right to the point. Per the tagline at the head of each episode "fifteen minutes long, because you're in a hurry, and we're not that smart." Head on over to writingexcuses.com, where you can listen straight from the website, download the MP3, grab the RSS feed, or link in to the iTunes store. (On a completely unrelated note, today's Day by Day, by Chris Muir, features merchandise I've never made. I might, though. Schlock looks pretty good on a big, baggy sweatshirt.)
